The Rankine equation of state [1] is given by (this equation needs to be checked):
\[pv = RT - \frac{a}{Tv}\]
where \(a\) is a constant, \(v\) is the volume, \(p\) is the pressure, \(T\) is the temperature and \(R\) is the molar gas constant.
