The fluctuation-dissipation theorem is given by

\[\left. B \right.= \zeta k_BT\]

where B represents random noise or a fluctuating force, \(\zeta\) is a dissipative or frictional force, \(k_B\) is the Boltzmann constant and T is the temperature.
