Equations of state for the square well model. From the continuous pressure equation one can arrive at the following discontinuous equation for the square well model (Eq. 7b [1])

\( Z = \frac{ p V}{N k_B T} = 1 + \frac{ 2 \pi}{3} \rho \sigma^3 \left( {\rm g}(\sigma^+) - \lambda^3 \left[ {\rm g}(\lambda\sigma^-)- {\rm g}(\lambda\sigma^+) \right] \right) \)
