The Boyle temperature, \(T_B\), is the temperature at which the second virial coefficient becomes zero, i.e.

\[B_2\vert_{T=T_B}=0\].

At the Boyle temperature a non-ideal gas, more or less, obeys Boyle's law (which holds for an ideal gas).
