Coulomb's law

Coulomb's law provides an expression for the force, $\mathbf {\Phi } _{12}$, between two charges, $q_{1}q_{2}$, and is given by

$\mathbf {\Phi } _{12}={\frac {1}{4\pi \varepsilon _{0}}}{\frac {q_{1}q_{2}(\mathbf {r} _{1}-\mathbf {r} _{2})}{|\mathbf {r} _{1}-\mathbf {r} _{2}|^{3}}}$

where $\varepsilon _{0}$ is the electric constant, which has the value 8.854187817x10^-12 Fm^-1
