where $\Phi \left(r\right)$ is the intermolecular pair potential, $r$ is the distance, $\sigma$ is the hard diameter, $\epsilon$ is the energy well depth ($\epsilon >0$), and $\kappa$ is a parameter that controls the interaction range ($\kappa >0$).
