The triangular well model, proposed by T. Nagayimain one dimension [1][2], is given by

Φ12(r)={∞;r≤σ;σ<r≤λσ0;r>λσ

where Φ12(r) is the intermolecular pair potential, r is the distance r:=|r1−r2|, σ is the hard diameter, ϵ is the well depth and λ > 1.
