Buckingham potential

The Buckingham potential is given by

$\Phi _{12}(r)=A\exp \left(-Br\right)-{\frac {C}{r^{6}}}$

where $\Phi _{12}(r)$ is the intermolecular pair potential, $r:=|\mathbf {r} _{1}-\mathbf {r} _{2}|$, and $A$, $B$ and Failed to parse (SVG (MathML can be enabled via browser plugin): Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle C} are constants.
