Glass transition

In the laboratory the glass transition is not a sharp transition; its properties change smoothly across $T_{g}$.

• $T_{g}$ increases with a decrease in the observation time, $\tau _{\rm {obs}}$.
• $\Delta H=0$
• $\Delta V=0$
